I have started building myself a new wooden patio planter from some pallets I have got from work.
Previously I have painted them with fence paint and lined the insides with with black weed membrane stapled to the inside surface. I'm looking for other ideas
for lining the new one, I thought about stapling heavy duty plastic to the inside with some drainage holes at the bottom but I've seen some bituminous roof paint that I'm guessing is toxic and no good for veg. I also thought that maybe I could use some sort of liner like the stuff that top soil is delivered in.
Any help would be great.
