Last year (I think) my wife took me to River Cottage, which was a great experience (being able to ask someone, face to face a MILLION gardening questions) - people in the group probably were annoyed at me, as it was almost a 1:1 tuition
anyway, we were free to help outselves to the salad bed, and they recommended a leave, which was really peppery hot. It was longer and broader than a spinnach leaf, dark greeg and in the centre - a flash of red, which speckled off into the green (from the stem to the veins, then tailed off into green).
Bit of a vauge description, but does anyone have an idea of what it is? I'd REALLy like to grow it again (or other suggestions?) As when we had a salad for dinner with it, it was amazing. Really nice to have something quite hot, infact in a salad.
Thanks!
