Two years ago I grew walking stick kale which reached a height of at least 8 feet and had a 'trunk' about 3 inches diameter rather than a stem.
I collected a few seeds and came across them when I was having a tidy up. Out of daftness I broadcast some of them in a 6 inch pot and left them in the cold greenhouse.
Just looked today and it appears they have all germinated. I know that to give a decent gene pool you should have at least six plants flowering at the same time..............but these all came from one plant, the only one flowering at the time.
Looking forward to seeing what they turn out like!
Worse case scenario is that they will make decent greens for the chooks!
