I have Organic Root Veg feed; and throw a handful in the soil when I put them out. I might sprinkle some around when I get out there in a month and loosen the soil around the sets; so that they can absorb the spring rains and swell.....but I might not!

I don't think the seed packet was anticipating such a cold Feb, Hawthorns!

Ime going to feed my overwintering onions and garlic with a calcified seaweed granular feed as soon as it gets a little bit warmer and i can see that they are starting to grow away again.

6:6:12 - so heavy on the potassium and not so heavy on the nitrogen......and middling on the phosphorus.

BFB and some organic root veg food and if I can find any either dried bl;ood or nitram..... but not until it gets a bit warmer...... At this rate the seed-sown overwinterers will be entirely overtaken by the normal seedlings I've got coming through the GH, the handful of set-sown ones don't look great either....
