It makes you wonder how long it takes for the labels to biodegrade doesn't it??
Glad you're sorted Piskie- I would have suggested trying Barkeepers Friend - I've yet to find something it doesn't remove from hard surfaces! ( think it's powdered rhubarb )"Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple

Would vinegar help? Leave the labels in some vinegar for a bit - I seem to remember using vinegar when drawing with marker pens in CDT at high school.A simple dude trying to grow veg. http://haywayne.blogspot.com/

i use plastic labels with pencil atm. But next year i was thinking of using wooden ones and just give them a quick lick of white paint each year.http://pot-to-plot.blogspot.com/ My brand spanking new plot
