Right Or Left..?

Mine were only little beds,so I went left to right, with my back to the rest.I marked out rows first, just by pushing the spade in, then went back and did a spades width at a time,the ground hadn't been worked for years, hence the making rows first.

I usually get the OH to do it.

If I had to, I would go left to right. And move backwards.

I start on the right hand side and work to my left then work back left to right with my back to the area i am digging,so i dont see how much i have to do.

When I was younger I was a serpentine but now I'm just sporadic. I dig a bit till it hurts then go do something else but, like a few others I'll be going no-dig from next year. It's taken four years to get this plot into good condition but now I'm self-sufficient in compost I'll just spread that over the top and let the worms do all the work.

OK I am the ODD ! one out yet again....

No Lisa...... I do it from left to right also!! Small areas at a time so I don't lose the plot (so to speak). Got half a lottie left but not panicking yet.
