Have you noticed how most seed packets state 'Sow from March onwards'
Must get sowing!

The March and April sections of my seed spreadsheet are VERY scary. Not only does a lot of the sowing kick in, I'm also supposed to be starting successional stuff for salads etc and I never manage to do that properly.
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
I hope everyone has their pots, trays and whatever cleaned and sorted in readiness for this seeding frenzy. And you'll need plenty of compost to fill them. It's getting like a military operation for me and I'm ready now for the spring offensive. My compost is all in the greenhouse warming up so my poor little seeds don't get a nasty shock. The only thing that's missing is some warm weather.

my greenhouse is still in pieces so it's down to window sills and my kitchen as my propagation area. Everywhere is already crowded with peppers and toms where am I going to put them all?

All this talk of window sills, pasting tables, greenhouses etc makes me almost glad I don't have a lottie and the available space in our garden is comparatively limited!
PS For the 1st time I have sown leeks and a few brave little seedlings have poked their heads above the compost. They look quite pathetic and I have an awful feeling they're going to soon bow those same heads and succumb to my poor ministrations.
Can some kind grape have mercy on them and give me some advice on what to do now?
