Can you wash horticultural fleece?

As the title says really, wondered if you can wash this. I have several drawstring fleece bags and fleece covers for my mini greenhouses. They are now looking a bit grubby, so wondered if I could wash them or will they disintegrate?

I regularly wash my enviromesh and net curtains from Ikea.....so I can't see why not.

I found some that had been outside, screwed up in a muddy corner, chucked it in the machine on a delicate programme and it came out fine, Not terribly white but much cleaner than it was.

I've washed mine (by hand), and it's perfectly fine.

I washed mine on a 40 degree wash with Ecover, and then tumbled dried it. It looks just like new..

I think it may depend on quality, a good quality one will withstand washing and last for a good few years. I bought a low budget one a few years back and after just one season the whole lot just disintegrated into a powder. I tend to go for enviromesh these days which washes well.
