    Chilli plants are quite hard to kill.

    I think they tend to lose their leaves due to lack of light but the sun is making a show from time to time now.

    Re-potting during flowering will cause no harm. They may drop some flowers but more will come back.

    Check your not over watering as this causes leaf drop and similar affects to lack of light or a deficiency. I prefer to bottom water chilli plants.

    When overwintering I usually leave 3" of stem but you need to make sure you don't cut below where the lowest side shoot was. Trim the roots right back and put into a 6" pot on a south facing windowsill. Water sparingly.

      Mine are still fruiting. Keep thinking it must be time to trim them back but I can't bring myself to chop off branches with chillies on

        I thinkk that to get new chillies you will need to remove the current fruit, but don't take any notice of me, see my previos shrivelled leaves post.
