What can I plant now???

Hi there,

I'm sorry if this has already been posted, I had a quick look and couldn't see anything.

I would like to get some veggies planted outside and get the growing going, but I'm really not sure what I could plant outside now, I have about 8 large planters full of compost ready to take some seeds, I'm new to this and only grew some carrots and lettuce last year and really want to expand my patch.
