Heating going off, will seedlings be okay??

Sorry if this sounds like a daft question On Monday we are having a new boiler fitted and central heating system flushed through. The heating is likely to be off for at least a day and a half. I have loads of seedlings on windowsills like courgettes, toms, aubergines, peppers and cucs. Will they be okay without this extra warmth or should I cover them up somehow?

Should be fine as long as we don't have a severe frost and you leave all the doors and windows open.

Streuth! they'll be fine It is much milder now.

...infact quite the reverse ....The chances are they'll go leggy if the heating is on all the time.

I'm much further north and I've started trying to keep the heating off (OH keeps putting it back on!). There is plenty heat coming through the windows and I think it's better to toughen up your seedlings.

Don't have it on all the time but has OH has Parkinsons he feels the cold more so it has been on quite a lot. I'm not bothered by it but was just concerned that the sudden temperature drop might shock them.

If it gets really cold overnight, they might be happier away from the glass. Unless your heating usually goes off overnight anyway?
