Luv it.....Reminds me of a deterrent I made yonks ago to keep the birds from my bushes. I bought a large stuffed topcat. Gave it a toy rifle and strapped it in a tree. It didn't bother the birds much but my kids thought it was cool.

Actually when I had loads of seedling go missing last year I investigated and it was my cat munching the young seedlings!!

We kept catching our cat eating the salsify leaves last year!!! No idea about the courgettes, it was slugs and snail that got ours. We tried using beer traps last year - small yoghurt pots filled with smart price beer caught loads, only prob was my 1.5 yr old found it fun to go round tipping out the contents all over the place!
