Thanks for all of the ideas. I have ordered seeds from the Dig In campaign (they haven't arrived yet) so that will be a good place to start (assuming they come!). I now have a good idea of the veggies we will grow, but not so much about flowers (maybe I should post this in the flower section?). Any ideas? I'm pretty clueless when in comes to growing flowers.

Nasturtiums are good for kids - chunky seeds and germinate quickly
also sunflowers, same reason....

Kids? flowers - candytuft every time!

marigolds - so easy to germinate, lovely and bright and attract bees!
