is it too late for sweet peppers?

    Try baby bell peppers or smallish pointy ones like banana I found these much quicker to ripen and more prolific that the standard bell peppers. I got 2/3 crops off the baby bells are the plants are more compact if you need/want to bring them in for peppers in winter.

      I just looked it up in my scribbly diary thingamy and two years ago I sowed California Wonder peppers in mid April and still managed a decentish crop from them. I think a lot depends on what sort of summer we have as well - and I find that things sown late do tend to catch up much of the time. Give it a go ...
