  • Too much information

I've used the S****h button honest, but when you put in Bean, Kidney or runner, you'd be amazed what you're bombarded with. I also tried prolific, heavy cropper, etc. My question is simple. I have only ever grown Scarlet Emperor and I can't find the ones I saved from last years crop so I have to buy some. Which bean have you found to be the heaviest/longest/best please? I feel a change coming on.

I tell stories in work all the time (be it, of any nature.. bedroom antics, toilet habbits, etc) - and EVERYONE always says I give TMI.

Will watch this thread with anticipation!

There's a lot of info out there.

I don't like green beans, I only grow them for drying. The only runner I grow is White Emergo. PM me if you want some seed.

Hi Flo, I have lots of Scarlet Emperor if you'd like some???

I'm growing a mix this year "Scarlet Emperor, St George, Enorma, Desiree and Pole Star".

I've grown 3 of them all individually over the years, Enorma are just massive beans, Scarlet are a close second, Desiree crop for ever and have lovely white flowers.
St George & Pole star I haven't grown before so I can't comment on them, if you fancy a few of each pm me.

Polestar were good for me last year. Have to keep on top of the picking as the pods are best when young: They have a tendency to get tough if left too long!
