Anyones PSB's sprouting?

I have a dozen or so PSB plants that have weathered the winter wonderfully and look great. However, there are no sprouting spears or anything, just leaves.
A neighbouring plot has PSB's and they have been producing florettes for a few weeks. I can't remember what variety I grew, but do they produce at differing times?

Ooo-er : my PSB has been in full production since January I think. The pigeons certainly liked the leaves, and the flowering shoots are just about to bolt into full flower now. I'll probably leave a few like that as the bees like them!
Not sure what variety tbh as they were a tray of 9 from the garden centre.

Yes, irritatingly mine got a bit striped by the net it the snow...a few look like they are coming in, one or two are just about worth a small pick. Yet what is really riling is my 9yo daughter's (to whom I gave 1/2 a doz spare for her little plot)...Yep, we are on our third good feed from hers! they are in full production

Most of mine at the lottie died because of the winter weather but the ones in the garden (only 2 plants) are producing a few florets now.

Ours started sprouting late autumn ??? which was odd cause I was quite late getting them in. They're still sprouting now, though struggling cause the snow set them back and completely knackered some of em.

There is a teeny weeny sprout in the centre of one of my plants. Looks like new leaves until you uncurl them slightly. I'm hoping that's not the limit of it!

hmm....hopefully mine are a late variety then and will come good soon.

Mine have not started yet. But they produced a small floret on top, the main growing point. So I cut them out and had a tasty treat.
I think if you cut out the main shoot it encourages the plant to make side shoots.
Do you think they are worth the space consider the time they occupy much needed grow areas.

I think that what the weather didn't get, the pigeons did. Knew I should have fleeced.

I think I shall pick the first of my main ones today.

I was reading Monty Don the other day and he said he usually doesn't start picking it till the end of March.
Looking in my records, I started picking it the 25th of March last year, so with the long cold winter we have had, about right I think.

I did have one plant that sprouted very early, about Dec and tasted foul. It died as it was trying to produce another crop, when I dug it up, it looked a bit like clubroot !!! but not like clubroot exactly, I don't get it, I sowed the seeds myself, the ground has never had brassicas on it before, hopefully it's something else. Also, all the brassica plants around it are OK?

Mine have only just started sprouting, but the plants are not brilliant this year and I don't think I will get to many feeds from them.

Had the first feed of mine on wednesday only one plant sprouting but enough for a feed the rest will start soon hope fully....jacob

When I last saw mine last Sunday it was looking like I might get a crop off it this weekend. Have a chicken defrosting for tomorrow night's tea that hopefully will be accompanied by a decent bit of PSB as I've not had it for far too long.
