  • Courgette : one ball and eight ball

    This year i want to try yellow one ball courgette and green eight ball courgette, how big the plants of these varieties will grow..... are they bush type of trailing or spreading ?

    Eight ball are a bush type, I grow them in big bendy buckets, there very prolific. I'm growing yellow one ball this year for the first time, I think its a bush type as well.

      I've grown one ball in the past and they do have a bush habit. Grew them in a container and were also prolific.

          My friend and I attempted to grow One Ball a couple of years ago from a commercial packet (it was labelled as a hybrid). We got no germination whatsoever!
          Happiness is being with the love of your life. If you can't have that, then an unlimited supply of well-rotted manure is a pretty close second!
