      Here it is......haven't had one's chums round for a while so going to have to round up the local serfs to shift the snow!

          Look at it this way Mac...by the time I get round to doing it after seeing something a gardening show...its all too late; whereas you have enough time to prepare.

            Went to a talk last night (in Aberdeen) and the gent suggested that if we successionally planted sweet peas and runner beans from now onwards, we could be picking them till October/November.

            There were some very unseemly snorts from the row behind me, for some reason. (I wouldn't know why, not being a very experienced gardener... )

                  I watched beechgroove, but wasn't impressed at all. bit of a let down as not much tips and it was all wait and see what happens. ok i did find the potting bit intresting and how to re-use your pots. And I did enjoy the garden with all the snow. But oh my shocked by seeing the damage of what snow can do to such an established garden!
