I would take the time and teach the two year old to treat them properly, rather than just lock him out, but then it depends on the two year old!

To keep the door shut, on mine on the top rail there's a little hole just next to the top of the closed door where you can put in a pin to block the door. It doesn't show and would keep a curious little person out

We have a bungee cod on ours which is clipped onto the frame and then hooks onto the door. Keeps a curious dog out who's learnt how to open the door.
Trouble with our GH is although it's new ( 8x6 ) it's just not BIG ENOUGH

Do you just not attach the metal spikes to the base then, just the base tied on with the cable ties, and then the GH onto the base?Comment
