  • Morning all

    I'm back!!!
Kind of fell out with my veg garden last year due to the atrocious weather, and a few health complaints, but back into it with a vengeance now!
Have been changing my enormous veg beds into a number of smaller plots, which gives me a chance to finish each bit in a shorter time, which works well with the time constraints I have.
Looking forward to getting reaquainted with you all again

Morning Claire - welcome back to the madhouse! Smaller beds are soooo much easier to manage.

Morning Clare, just setting up my raised beds at the moment. This is the first year I have done something like this on this type of scale!! Ran out of compost for my 2nd raised bed, so off to the garden center to get more! hope this year will bring you and all of us a fruitful harvest!

Welcome back Claire - looking forward to hearing about your successes! And interested to hear about failures too - so I know I'm not alone.
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

Nice to meet you. There are a lot of grapes working in small areas on the forum so you're not alone.

                Nice to have you back!

If you devide those small beds into oddly shaped 'pockets' for planting..........it's even easier still!

Welcome back, Claire. Another raised bed and pot user here, you can finish a small bed and know it's done, whereas a large bed part done still isn't finished

Evening Claire. It's amazing how we are all freshly invigorated with the spring sun of the new year. It doesn't matter how your year ended in 2009, it's 2010 and the sun's shining. Time for gardening.
