... I picked one up and wrapped it round my wrist to wear as a bracelet for a bit [they love the warmth and will stay there]

I've picked them up before too, and they automatically wrap themselves round your warm skin. If you hold them up to your face, you can see them watching you, moving their faces very slightly, as they pass their eyes over your face. They are sooo lovely!
