So, I've been getting into sprouting seeds. I've done it before in a jar and it was fine.
Now that I've bought a super-duper square one, I'm having problems.
1) even though I rinse twice a day, the sprouts stink, and some of them are slimy. I make sure to drain the box thoroughly, upside down with a sieve. Today the whole lot went in the compost because they smelled like vomit.
2) every now and again, we crunch down on a really hard sprout (well, one that hasn't sprouted). Usually mung beans
I'm about to give up, unless someone can give me any top tips; please!
