  • Polinating strawberries

I have a number of marshmello strawberry plants on my plot & thought it would be nice to try & bring on a few early fruits. I therefore put a row of cloches over 20 plants. However I am a little concerned about how the fruits will be polinated by the bees as the will obviously have trouble gaining access. Should I simply remove the ends of the tunnel for a while or once the plants are well advanced do I remove the cloches completely.

Whatever works is the easy answer

I would probably remove the cloches on good days myself, but I'm sure others would just remove the ends.

Please ignore everything I say, I make it up as I go along, not only do I generally not believe what I write, I never remember it either.

You could also get some maggots let them turn into flies inside the cloches these will then do the job for you.
