I planted up a propagator three weeks ago with various things. My 'system' is to draw a diagram of what I've planted in each prop. Anyway, I drew on the back of an envelope, planning to copy it into my gardening diary later. Envelope got thrown away, and I cannot remember everything I planted.
I will recognise most things as the true leaves come through, but I'm growing psb and caulis for the first time - never had space before; and whilst I think both have come through, I can't tell which is which.
One line came through almost a week before the other - is one a faster germinator?
There was a slight purple tinge to the edge of the leaves on the first set, and I thought ah! must be the psb. Then the other ones seemed to show the same thing... At the moment, they look very similar
For those of you who have grown both crops before, at what stage with I be able to tell which is which? I suppose they will be treated/handled similarly for a while.
Any tips?
