Don't forget to put the coffee grounds in too. I just lift the whole paper filter from the percolator and put it in the bowl I keep beside the sink for all compostable material, and once a day it goes to the compost bin.

We got a small 5liter bin for compostables, fill it as we peel veg and use teabags etc, then empty it into the compost bin outside once its full! Works well for us!

Tea bags should compost down to sterilised leaf mould!!!!

I've also used tea bags with essential oil sprinkled on them as pest deterrents.

Reasonably successful. You just have to choose what scent you want.
