My latest reccycling idea!

Thought people might be interested to see what I have done. My OH was clearing out the shed and in it was an old shoe rack which I thought could have potential as a planter. I measured the dimensions between the tow bars the shoes would normally rest on and then took the measurements down to Homebase. Luckily I found some troughs that fitted. I have now planted strawberries in the top trough and the middle and bottom troughs have mixed salad leaf in them as they won't get so much light

Great idea! I've got one lying in the cupboard under the stairs doing nothing which I could use for my herb troughs... Was going to try and build my own shelving but thats solved that dilemma

Great Idea SR. Mr. G. wears Rigger Boots for work. He gets through about four pairs a year. They make great herb planters when he's finished with them!
