  • Birds eating my leaves....

Its my first year of growing pumpkins and I came home today to find half of my plants leaves are missing! Apparantely some birds came down and had lunch on my pumpkin plants!

    Any tips to stop them?

Have you had a look to see if they were trying to get to some food that's under the leaves ie slugs, snails, bug's. If not try C.D's on strings dangled over your pumpkin's as the wind/breeze blows they move and scare the birds off.

I've never known a bird to eat pumpkin leaves: are you sure it wasn't snails? I only sowed my pumpkins today

      Where are yours?

Yesterday one of my chickens ate one of my tomato leaves! There's no telling!
