Don't mention bindweed - I already have nightmares about it! I am forever digging the plant up with little effect. I grow organically and nothing seems to halt the progress of this plant. Maybe others have got ideas?

I loathe the stuff with a passion, I have it in 2 areas of the allotment and its a nightmare to shift.
I have had sweet pes coming up 3 years on the trot in the front garden. I've given in now and plant them there each year to take advantage of the free ones! They are hardy things.
I have a perennial sweet pea in my hedge, so it could be one of them (didn't see photo). The flowers are a pretty purple but no variation in colour. Have tried growing more from seed but never managed one yet.
