  • Onion Sets a quick question

As I mentioned in the 'Baby Leek' thread, my in-laws are moving up to be near us and the girls. As a result, I'm having to rethink the number of plants/seeds I'm sowing to ensure that we have enough to help them as well.

I still have some onion sets left and my question is, is it too late to plant them?

    Many thanks

P.S.I'm looking forward to the day (probably in about 100 yrs time) when I'm helping to answer more questions than I'm asking.

Chuck them in as soon as you can - they'll be a bit behind the ones you've already sown but you'll still get onions off them, just a bit smaller ones.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
