Last year I grew Roosters and British Queen in the garden. Agree that both are superb, but onlyproblem with British Queen is they didn't like to be boiled - prefer to be steamed - stops the potato soup occurringRat

Having heard everyone going on about Roosters I really fancied trying some, but with already having 2 maincrop varieties, and First and Second Earlies (its going to be 3 5' by 14' rows of tatties on No2 plot), plus another 4 heritage varieties to try (in 55l tubs in the back garden), I dont think we are going to have either the room or appetite for Roosters this year! Ah well, perhaps next year!Blessings

Just cannot understand why people like Kerrs Pink - I know they have their supporters but I guess I'm just a bit different - I would only eat them as a last resort and certainly would never consider growing them.Rat
