runner bean leaves a bit yellow

I've planted runner beans in a raised bed filled with topsoil and garden compost. One or two have been zapped by frost so I've replaced them with others grown in bag compost in a cold frame.

The leaves on the one's in the raised bed are turning a bit yellow. The leaves of some turnips nearby seem fine.

Am I under-watering, or maybe over-watering, or to I need to apply some kind of plant food?

Any advice apreciated.

They've had a chill. They should be fine once they warm up a bit.

Ideal temp for runners is 14-19C.

Anything lower, and they'll just sulk

I would say it is either a chill as suggested by Flummery or a lack of water. Most of the broad beans on the lottie have yellow leaves due to lack of water.

You're right, after the recent warm spell they look a lot better and even the ones I thought had died completely have sprouted again. And in the warm spell I was putting on lots of water.

When our runner beans leaves started going yellow and then papery they were hungry, a good dose of growmore sorted them out and they're much better now.
