sweet peppers

hi all, can anyone please tell me is it advisable to pinch out the tips of sweet peppers and if so at what stage

As with aubergines, I have heard advice that says pinch out the tops after 5 fruits have formed - I don't bother pinching out any of my stuff - apart from sideshoots on toms and cukes. I leave evrything else to grow as nature intended - but I do have a lot of room and height in my tunnel.
