Tomato Plants

Ive put my tomato plants outside yesterday ( outdoor variety ) as i have no greenhouse at the mo i have been using the back room to bring my plants on, but my daughter kept complaining she couldnt see her tv for plants ! i know the weather is nice this weekend, but am i tempting fate ? is it too early ? they are big strong plants about 4ft tall some with tomato`s on already.

Have you hardened them off? Taking them outside in the day for a week or two before leaving them out full time? I don't put stuff out till June and even then I harden off - but I'm a belt and braces type of person. Risk averse as a financial adviser once told me!
