Anyway, it's quite excellent - and the good thing is you can easily adjust the degree of heat by altering either the number or type of chilli peppers you add - my recipe below uses Cayenne Peppers.
Spitfire Sauce
1 x Sweet Pepper
10 - 30 Chilli Peppers (adjust to taste - I do the max and include the seeds)
2 cloves garlic
1 onion
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
150ml vinegar
Roughly chop peppers, onion and garlic and bring to the boil with other ingredients - simmer for 30mins. Blitz and bottle / jar.

I have sown about 100 potatoes, well over 400 onions, ( lost some in the winter so planted more ) I have loads of raspberry canes. I am way behind on so much this year, I have sown seeds then lost them, my toms came up but are stunted cos I have nowhere to put them. Also chillies and peppers are the same. I have two half plots, one is now almost full, the other I have loads of room but its not ready and the soil is terrible.
I have also lost the umph due to other problems and feel I am only playing at it now.Gardening ..... begins with daybreak
and ends with backache

A month ago I was drowning in eager little plants in the greenhouse, conservatory and every windowsill. I had masses of chillies, tomatoes and peppers, brassicas and squashes even after I had given tons away, so I put some out on the little stall where I sell chutneys and marmalade and at 50p a go they all sold quickly. That has covered the cost of seed and removed a serious problem! I am now growing more to sell!
