Green Dock Leaf Beetle

Hi all,

I seem to have a number of the above squating on my rhubarb at the lottie and making the leaves rather holey.

Are they likely to do any serious damage and is there any recommended way of controlling them?

Pretty pretty. I'd leave them alone unless the rhubarb looks in serious trouble, it has loads of large leaves.
Pick the sticks that have the leaf damage.

Oddly enough I checked them today and couldn't see a single one, and no eggs or larvae.

Guess they must have moved elsewhere.

Dock Beetles

Hi All,
I have shiny beetles on my young rhubarb plant and they seem to be eating holes in the leaves. I think they are Dock beetles, which makes sense as I am constantly removing docks from my plot. Does anyone have any advice on how to get rid of them please?
