    Guess that a good option
I have two solar panels and two 6v batteries.
They are just on charge waiting for a power fail which we get occasionally.
    Might put them to use.
But also fancy a wind pump.

I tried one of these generic kits a couple of years ago, in fact I tried two. They were junk and I took them back.
What I did for the last two years, was have one of these IBC tanks connected straight up to a leaky hose that was fixed to the greenhouse bed, turn the tap on and leave for a while, the greenhouse got watered.
It worked quite well, but as the level in the tank dropped, you had to leave it on for longer and it got difficult to guess how much water the plants were getting.
So this year I just have a hose which comes from the tank and is inside the GH, I can just turn the tank on and water direct with the hose. Takes a bit longer, but I know what's going where.

Please ignore everything I say, I make it up as I go along, not only do I generally not believe what I write, I never remember it either.
