    I got 5 bits of sterile comfrey from ebay, three survived, they're now nearly 2ft high.
    I bought them because I can't see the point of buying feed when for the same price as one bottle I can feed my plants for 20 years.
    I know the bought feed has trace elements, but I'm hoping between my own compost, my own feed, various other free bits and bobs that the trace elements will be restored.

      All comfrey will have the nutrients though, due to their long roots - they dig deep and bring them up for us to use by cutting the leaves.
