No, it's not a question.
For those that planted their garlic out before the shortest day [22nd December] or thereabouts.....your garlic should be ready for digging up in about 3 weeks.
On the surface, it probably looks about 8-10mm [less than half an inch] wide, but under the ground it should be thickening up nicely.
I use alot as green garlic, and tonight I pulled the smallest in my patch that went in on 18th Sept from my own saved bulbs [originally from the greengrocers in Woolaton, Nottingham].
As you can see, the bulbs are getting nice and fat under the ground.
Inside, the cloves should be separating themselves, and thickening up. In time, the outside skin will be ready to flake off once the bulbs are dug up and dried out.
