How much longer for rhubarb

I've tried the excellent search facility, but cannot see anything.

I've made crumbles a plenty, schapps, chutney, and tonight I will be mostly making a rhubarb cake, some jam and rhubarb and date chutney.

My question though is this - how much longer can I keep cropping rhubarb, surely it must run out soon?

Pink Champagne is the variety by the way.

If I recall it's about the end of June/mid July ( or earlier if you're getting sick of it!!!)

Remember to leave quite a few leaves to help replensih the plant.

End Jun/beginning of July to let the plant build up strength for next year. That's for Timperley Early. Pink champagne is a bit later so maybe stretch it to midJuly?

I stop cropping mine mid July.
Don't forget it freezes really well Wayne, just chop it up and shove in a freezer bag, it makes a lovely winter pud!
I make lots of Jam with mine, Rhubarb and vanilla goes down a treat.

Trouble is we have one of those 'merkan style fridges and it ain't got a lot of room - what with the ice maker/drinks thingy.

Mine too. I planted 2 last year and both gave up the ghost. My other 2 plants are flourishing in same position.

T'is very sweet - with a tang, but I guess jam's supposed to be sweet innit?
