heritage potatoes

Waitrose delivered my shopping a while ago & included were some fortyfold heritage potatoes which I ordered just to try them out. I then went to pick my daughter up from ASDAs & they were selling Red King Edwards so I got a bag to try. Has anybody grown them as I am tempted to buy some seed next year but was wondering if they are much more prone to disease due to their being old varieties.

I've just picked my first spuds of the year (Roosters, from Tesco). Only golf ball size still, but yummy
