i brought my self a mushroom growing kits few months back from homebase, after reading posts on here i thought maybe i shouldnt off brought it and would be a complete waste of time, but today i have harvested 12 mushrooms fromit and plenty more will be ready soon, i was so pleased

Good stuff, think we had about half a dozen off ours before it got infested with flies!

we were told about the flies so we put our mushrooms into our small metal shed with pull up front, we put a small bag of manure in the corner and this seems to have attracted the flies to the manure and away from our mushrooms will be doing it again

I used mushroom compost for my lettuce last year. I got a bountiful supply of mushrooms erupting from the compost, so large I had to uproot them before they disturbed the salad.

Sadly though I don't like mushrooms, so they went on the compost

i was looking at mushroom compost today didnt know if it was any good, its a real shame you dont like mushrooms i yet to try these ones
