I've just tried cooking one. It's fabulous (even though you WOULD expect me to say that!) I poured boiling water on and boiled for 2 minutes. It kept some of the colour (I think the traditional British method of boiling all veg for 20 minutes would have lost it all though!) It tasted of asparagus.
(My husband was un-exstatic! He doesn't like mangetout peas OR asparagus so I was never going to get a round of applause there then!)Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.
