Tomatoes: is this a side-shoot/armpit/sucker? With pictures! :)

Hullo,

This is my first time growing anything and i wondered if anybody could tell me whether this is one of those side-shoots i've read so much about (view pictures below). If so, at what stage can it be nipped out?

Pictures below: the first is a close-up; the second is the same shoot in context with the main stem and side branch. The variety is money maker.

Yup- that teeny weeny shoot in the first piccie is the one to nip out.
I'd leave it a couple of days so it's easier to get hold of

It certainly is! As Nicos says leave it till it's a bit bigger and easier to get hold of, then just nip it out.
