I wanted to give Jerusalem artichokes a go this year, but stupidly bought artichoke seeds [green globe] thinking they were the same thing...oops! How do you grow Jerusalem artichokes? Do you need to get tubers from someone else who grows them or can you buy tubers. Any advice would be beneficial. Thanks.

I have seen tubers available in a few places as growing seeds. Maybe a good garden centre will do them?
Are you going to give the globe artichokes a go? I believe they take ages to grow and take up quiet a bit of space. I have not eaten either artichokes before. What are the jerusalem ones like?

Jerusalem Artichokes are one of those foods you'll either love or hate, personally I love them! Only had them once, and made chips with them, tasted nicer than any chips I've ever tasted, didnt even need salt n vinegar, but they do have a down side!
They are that full of fibre that they will give you a bad case of wind, hence their nickname of Fartichokes! Mind you, tis worth paying the price! (Even better if you can give some to some friends to eat at a dinner party, then sit back and watch the reactions!!)Blessings
