Hi all im after some info on BN

Last year was my first year of growing BN so I limited each plant to just 4 squashes as i had to buy plants

This year I was able to start growing from seed and I started early .One of my squash plants has a main body of 16ft square allready,it has 10 small squashes of about 1 1/2" in size on it

The plant was planted in a bed loaded with nutrients,basically:-

1/2 square yard of self made compost
250 litres of horse manure
plus chicken pellets and BFB

So how do i treat the plant from now on,do i let it keep growing or do i stop it at the 10 fruits it currently has?

If i let it keep growing how many fruits should i let it develop?

I am in complete envy, mine are still only babies. Sorry I cant advise but another grape will be along shortly

I always let mine do their own thing, its nice to have a variety of sizes with there only being two of us the huge industrial sized sqaushes can be a bit too much, I put a cane in next to the roots so when the vines become a jungle you can aim the hosepipe at the cane and give the plant a drink without trampling the leaves.

Personally, I've never got more than 4 good fruits from one plant, so I'd stop it at 10. You do have enough time still for them to grow & ripen
