I have a tiny veg patch in the corner of the garden-the corner of which has a fence on one side and a hedge on the other. I planted runner beans in the corner but they are not doing too well as I assume they probably need more sun than they are getting. So I know for next year-what would grow better in the shade? it doe sget some sun midday but it is mostly shaded. I am growind, runner beans, peas, onions, carrots, broad beans and cucumbers-would any of the other crops be more suited to that location? thanks for any help

Wait a while... my runner beans are always grown in shade and are slow to get going but do well in the end.
I've had success with onions and carrots as well.
I find it hard to turn off my envious gene when I hear of and see others' early successes but at the end of the season I've got plenty. The proof of the growing is in the eating.
Leave Rotten Fruit.
Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potasium - potash.
Autant de têtes, autant d'avis!!!!!
Il n'est si méchant pot qui ne trouve son couvercle.
