No , the only thing I've ever used is comfrey tea , organic slug pellets (from ryton) and an organic pest spray. We did manure the bed , but like I said other stuff is fine. The bed with the courgettes had loads of manure on which wasn't dug in and they've been good .S*d the housework I have a lottie to dig
