The glory of gardening: hands in the dirt, head in the sun, heart with nature. To nurture a garden is to feed not just on the body, but the soul.
They need plenty of room in a good compost and need to be watered reguarly.
I have one big plant in a container and it's doing really well.
It's the first time i've tried to grow courgettes and I will definitely be growing them again.
Milly they can be a bit recalcitrant to start off with - they are probably putting down an impressive root system - keep them watered and fed and suddenly they will put on a growth spurt.
