Seedlings seem to be suffering in hot dry weather!

Hello,
I have some beetroot and khol rabi seedlings in my raised bed, about 1inch tall, and they keep toppling over (all though do still seem to be growing). I am assuming it is because it is so hot and dry. I keep watering them and now wonder if I am watering them too much and therfore the roots are not growing deep enough?
Any advice would be gratefully received!

You need to give them a serious soak every few days rather than a sprinkle daily. This will encourage roots to go downwards. Good luck with them.

I'm with Flum on the watering advice. Could you cover the seedlings with netting to shade them?

Hey,
Thanks, I watered the seedlings for ages yesterday evening, and moved my bay and rosemary plants that are in pots next to the raised bed to shade them. I am happy to say that the sun was shining all day on them and they haven't wilted at all!

Bay and rosemary are Mediterranean natives? So, used to the sun?
