Foremost potatoes sown 26 April - ready yet?

I planted my potatoes on 26th April in sacks. The lovely lush green foliage and white flowers have all keeled over today in both sacks - I furtled and found about 5 potatoes one about the size of an egg, the other three smaller.

The larger two have nice smooth skins, and the smaller three appear to have scab (going by a bit of research I just did on the net) with a split here and there.. although the inner flesh seems fine and white -I am not sure if the splits were due to damage whilst furtling though.

Can the potatoes stay in longer to get bigger or does it look like they have run their course? also interested in why some appear to have scab, and others not.

If the foliage has died, the spuds won't grow any bigger.

The splits are due to erratic watering: I've had it too this year.

Some of mine have scab, some don't.
